2018 ICC Awards: Kohli Creates History, Sweeps three Awards

In the ICC Awards 2018, Indian captain Virat Kohli has won a hat-trick of the awards by winning three awards in the event.

Kohli was chosen as the ICC Cricketer of the Year along with ICC Man’s ODI Cricketer of the Year and ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year. He will meet the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2018. Kohli was also chosen as the captain of the ICC Test Team of 2018 and ODI Team of the Year.

Kohli has won ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year for the second time in a row. He scored 1202 runs with an average of 133.55 in 2018.Virat Kohli also became the fastest player to score 10,000 runs in ODIs Last Year.

Kohli also won the Best Cricketer of the Year award for the year 2018. Kohli will meet Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year. Kohli scored 2735 runs in 37 innings of 37 matches at an average of 68.37 in 2018. Virat Kohli scored 11 centuries and 9 half-centuries.

Indian captain Virat Kohli has been made the captain of the ICC 2018 Test Team. Along with that he was also elected the captain of the ICC 2018 ODI team.
