India level the T20 series with historic win against New Zealand

India won the second Twenty20 match against New Zealand by 7 wickets. With this victory, India level the current series to 1-1. Rohit Sharma and Krunal Pandya played a key role in India’s victory in this match. Team India made history with this victory. This is India’s first T20 win on New Zealand soil. Earlier, the Indian team had never won any T20 match.

Prior to the second T20 match played in Auckland, the Indian team played three T20 matches on New Zealand soil, and Team India had to face defeat in all three matches. In the match that was played in Wellington, India had to face its biggest defeat in T20 till now. India lost by 80 runs in that match. But in the second match, India made history by registering a win.

In this match, New Zealand decided to bat first after winning the toss. New Zealand first scored 159 for eight wickets. Colin de Grandhomme hits his first fifty in his T20 career for New Zealand. Ross Taylor also scored 42 runs. At the same time, India’s Krunal Pandya took important three wickets and got the man of the match for his performance. Khalil Ahmed also took two wickets and one wicket each for Hardik and Bhuvi.

Chasing a challenging 159, Rohit Sharma hit a half-century in quick succession. Rohit now the leading run scorer, the highest number of fifties, and hundred sixes in international T20. Rohit scored 50 runs in 29 balls. After this, Dhawan was also dismissed after scoring 30 runs. Rishabh Pant not out after 40 runs, Dhoni scored 19 runs. Pant gave victory to India by scoring a boundary.
