India vs Australia, 4th Test, Day 1, Stumps: Cheteshwar Pujara scored his third Century in this series

India made 303 runs in four wickets on the first day of the 4th and decisive Test being played in Sydney and kept its hold against Australia. Cheteshwar Pujara scored his third Century in this series. With the century partnership between pujara and opener Mayank Agarwal, India is on front foo. Pujara played an unbeaten 130-run knock with the help of 16 fours in 250 balls and Hanumu Vihari made 39 not out 75-run partnership for the fifth wicket in a strong position.

Before, Pujara contribute 116 runs for the second wicket with Agarwal (77) and 54 runs for the third wicket with Captain Virat Kohli (23). This is the first time that Pujara has scored three hundreds in a series. During his innings, Pujara performed his best in the highest number of balls in a series. He has scored 458 runs in the ongoing series faced 1135 balls so far.

Earlier, in the year 2016-17, he had scored 405 against Australia in 1049 balls and in 2012-13 he scored 438 runs against England in the four-Test series in India.
