Umesh Yadav has been named as Shardul Thakur’s swap in India’s squad for the next two ODIs against the Windies. It’s the main change in the first squad that BCCI had declared couple of days back.
Thakur, India’s Test player No. 294, suffered a right adductor tendon injury on the first day of his Test make a big appearance and delivered 10 ball, in Hyderabad.
Thakur has played five ODIs for India beforehand, with best figures of 4 for 52 against South Africa this year.
Umesh’s last ODI appearance for India was at Lord’s in July, in the second session of the three-coordinate arrangement against England that the guests lost by 86 runs.
