During the India vs Australia one day match at Ranchi, Team India set a new milestone. During their third ODI, the entire India team came in the field wearing the Army caps. They did this in honor of the Indian Army and armed forces.

After coming to the field, Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself gave these hats to all the team members. Inspiring from the ‘Pink Test’ of Australia and ‘Pink ODI’ of South Africa, Team India will now wear these hats every year in a match on the Indian ground.

According to the information, Captain Virat Kohli and Former Captain Ms.Dhoni gave this idea to the BCCI. The BCCI liked this idea very much and they started it from the third ODI.

During the toss in the match, Captain Kohli made another announcement. He said that the entire Indian team will donate their third ODI match fees to the National Defence Fund.

This is Dhoni’s last match in Ranchi. After this Dhoni will not be seen playing in Ranchi. That is why the BCCI wanted that it should be implemented from Dhoni’s last match.
