Women Cricket: England Beat India by 5 Wickets in T20

India won the toss and choose to bat first and scored 111 runs in 8 wickets England scored 114 runs in 5 wickets in 19.1 overs.

England’s women’s cricket team defeated India by five wickets in the second T20 on Thursday. England achieved an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three T-20 series.

England won the first T20 match with 41 runs. The Indian team has consistently lost the sixth T-20 match.  England has won three consecutive T20 bilateral series against India in 9 years.

The final match of the series will be played in Guwahati on March 9. Earlier, Team India had won 2-1 in the ODI series against England. Mithali Raj, who scored 20 runs, was the highest scorer. For England, Katherine Burnt scored three wickets in 17 runs. Lynne Smith took two wickets in 11 runs.

India’s 5 batsmen reached the tenth position

Apart from Mithali, opener Harleen Deol (14 off 21 balls), Captain Smriti Mandhana scored 12 runs in 5 balls, Deepti Sharma scored 18 runs in 22balls, and Deepti scored 18 runs from 20 balls.

England’s won the match by lost of  5 wickets in 19.1 overs. England’s Opener Daniela Wat is the highest scorer. she scored an unbeaten 64 off 55 balls including 6 boundaries during the innings.

They were selected Player of the Match. Apart from them, Lauren Winfield scored 29 runs from 23 balls.
