India has presented the claim of hosting the men and women’s hockey World Cup in 2022. Along with India, Australia, Germany, Malaysia, New Zealand and Spain also have the rhythm to host four World Cups. Let us know that India hosted the men’s hockey World Cup in the year 2018. All the matches of this World Cup were held in Bhubaneswar. The last date for submission of the claim was January 21, 2019. The International Hockey Federation has provided two options for the World Cup, the first of which is from 1 to 17 July, 2022 and the second is from 13 to 29 January, 2023.
Apart from India, Germany has also expressed the desire to host both male and female World Cups, while Malaysia and Spain have only claimed for the men’s World Cup. All these have agreed to the window from 1 to 17 July 2022.
