Indian squash player Saurabh Ghosal reached the 10th position in the world rankings. Along with this, he became the first Indian male player to be included in the list of top-10 male players. Men’s Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Ranking was released on Monday.

The last month for Ghosal was great. He qualified the quarter-finals of the PSA World Championship for the first time. He also reached the quarter-finals of the Grasshopper Cup in Switzerland. Ghoshal won the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games.
Egyptian world champion player Ali Farag occupies first place. Mohammad al-Shorbagi second place in the same country and Tarar Momen is third in the country. New Zealand’s Paul Cole has reached fifth place. This is the best ranking of his career. Simon Rosner of Germany is on the fourth spot.
Joshna Chinappa is ranked 15th in the women’s rankings. She is the country’s top female squash player. Joshna joined Top-10 in 2010. In 2012 and 2014, Deepika Pallikal also managed to make the top-10 spot.
