IPL: SRH Beats RR For The Third Consecutive Time at Home Ground

In the eighth match of the IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by five wickets on Friday. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 199 runs in 19 overs. It is the third time Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan in their home ground Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.

Earlier, the team had won in 2013 and 2018. Warner-Bairstow shared 110 runs partnership David Warner tops in the list hit 69 runs against for Sunrisers. He made a 110-run partnership for the first wicket with Bairstow.

Bairstow scored 45 runs. Warner scored fifty in the second consecutive match. He scored 85 against Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous match.

Captain Ken Williamson was dismissed for 14 runs on the personal score after Bairstow. His wicket was taken by Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat. Shankar scored 35 runs off 15 balls. During this, he hits four and three sixes.

Manish Pandey scored a run and got out of Gopal’s bowling. Sanju Samson made his second century in IPL Rajasthan won the toss and scored 198 runs for two wickets in 20 overs. Sanju Samson remained unbeaten on 102 off 55 balls.

He hit 10 fours and four sixes in his innings. He became the first batsman to score a century in this season. This was Samson’s second century in IPL.  Rahane-Samson’s Centennial Partnership Rahane shared a 119-run partnership with Samson for the second wicket.

They scored a score of 50+ after eight innings. Ben Stokes scored 16 runs off nine balls in the last over. He scored three boundaries during this period. Rashid Khan and Shahbaz Nadeem took wickets for Hyderabad.

Rashid took the wicket of Jose Butler and Rahane. Hyderabad made two changes, out of the team Shakib Al Hasan and Deepak Hooda. Regular captain Ken Williamson returned.

They were unable to play due to injury in the first match. Left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem was also included in the final eleven. At the same time, Rajasthan did not make any changes to the team.
